Let ABCD be the quadrilateral
To find the perimeter we have to add the distances of all the four sides.
Therefore, the perimeter will be- Distance of AB+ Distance of BC+ Distance of CD+ Distance of AD
And to find the area of quadrilateral, we need to divide the figure in two triangles-
(Here I have divided the quadrilateral in triangle ABD and triangle BCD)
Therefore, Area of quadrilateral= Area of triangle ABD+ Area of triangle BCD
