Given is that the base of an obtuse triangle DEF is 6 cm and it's height that is 4 cm

To find the area of this triangle ,

 \frac{1}{2}  \times (base \times  height)

 \frac{ 1}{2}  \times (6 \times 4)

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 20

 = 10  {cm}^{2}

Note : The formula to find Area of an obtuse triangle is as same as others , so therefore we used

 \frac{1}{2}  \times (base \times \: height )
