Lomov was 35 years old,which was a critical age for him.He had many health problems.He suffered from palpitations and had a weak heart.This makes him take a decision about getting married.
He wanted to marry Natalya,the only daughter of Chubukov.He wanted to marry her because she was good at household chores,was not bad looking and was educated.
