Area of an equilateral triangle of side a = root3 ÷4 a ^2 or 1/2× base × height
equate both of them . You will get the answer

sanjayn234567: What should be subtracted from -4/5 to get 1
Akshitha0912: let the number be x. -4/5 -x = 1 x = -4/5 -1 = -9/5

first draw a triangle then draw an altitude
in equilateral triangle altitude and median are same so that altitude will divide base in 2 equal parts which is half of the side now just apply Pythagoras theorem and find the answer
let side be a
a^2 = h^2 +(a/2)^2
now find height using the equation
