if you took red litmus paper on enter a tone acid that it will remain raid but if you put the red litmus paper into and base then it will turn it colour into blue now same for the blue Litmus Paper if you put blue Litmus Paper into a base it will not change its colour but if you put the blue Litmus Paper into the acid it will convert sit colour from black to red
