IF THE RIVER IS FLOWING THROUGH OUT THE YEAR AND NOT SEASONAL THEN IT SAID TO BE A PERENNIAL RIVER.

A river whether perennial or dry is better understood in a topographical map. It helps to discover the height and other physical condition of a region on a flat sheet of paper. Here a perennial river is marked by blue colour. Two blue lines that draws the outline on either side shows the width of the river and if the entire width is covered with blue colour it denotes that the river is perennial. Often there is only a single blue line running inside the width which is mainly used to denote a perennial stream. Non perennial river is usually denoted with black lines.
