A silent consonant is a letter that you don't actually say, when you say a word. Take a word like 'know'. You don't pronounce the letter 'k'. Get it?I'll give you half of the answers you want and you get to have fun and find the others.
1. signs = g (we don't pronounce that word sigins)
2. listen= t (we don't say lis-tin)
3. whistle= t or h (we can't hear the h or the t when we say it)
Now just sound out the otherwords and as you read and say them, watch for letters you don't actually say.
