HERE IS YOUR ANSWER..

For a perfect singing you need to know the sur properly you should be able to recognise every sur and that can be achieved through daily riyaaz of all basic Alankars first in sargam and then in aaakar.
To reach high notes riyaaz of lower octave which is also called Kharaj riyaaz is important as well.
But overall do riyaaz in sargam first and then in alankar.Do practice daily for better results.
