Answer:

Keep yourself safe from the lack of public hygiene thus:

Shower twice a day. Showering in the morning before leaving for work refreshes you and prepares you for the day. But it is even more important to shower when you return home from outside. Your skin will pick up dirt, grime, germs and bacterial infections as you commute to work, meet people, sit at your desk, have lunch, etc. Apart from scrubbing your skin clean, make sure to clean between your toes, clear the dirt in your fingernails and wipe your skin with a clean towel. Using an antibacterial body wash for your bath. You can also put few drops of Dettol Antiseptic liquid in warm water to ensure protection from 99.9% germs.

Use hand sanitisers and wipes often. You cannot help touching surfaces that everybody else touches in a public place. Also, not everyone is as concerned about maintaining good personal hygiene as others. Hence, you are likely to touch surfaces teeming with dirt, germs and bacteria. If you refused to touch anything in a public place for fear of contracting germs, you would have to walk about with gloves on! Instead, carry Dettol multi-use wipes and Dettol hand sanitiser in your bag and use them often during the day, especially after meals, shaking hands with colleagues or neighbours or even taking public transport.

Stay away from people sneezing and coughing. It is a given that one must cough or sneeze into a tissue paper or a large handkerchief – but many don’t! Not covering your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze is a sure way of spreading your illness far and wide. The germs can settle on another person’s skin or hands, or if another person is close enough, then they can settle right near the eyes and nose and make the other person sick. It is best to steer clear of people who constantly sneeze and cough.

Keep tissues and hand washing soap in your bag. You might be outdoor the entire day and soon, your hands and face will feel grubby. Germs and bacteria thrive on unclean, oily skin. You can keep antibacterial wet tissues in your bag, as well as a small bottle of antibacterial hand washing liquid. If you get access to water, you can quickly wash your hands and refresh your face.

Stay safe from pets. It’s all very well to cuddle your neighbour’s dog or let your best friend’s cat sit on your lap. But pets may carry ticks and bugs in their fur that can transfer to your clothes and skin

Answer:

Pulse oximetry is a noninvasive method for monitoring a person's oxygen saturation. Peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) readings are typically within 2% accuracy (within 4% accuracy in the worst 5% of cases) of the more desirable (and invasive) reading of arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2) from arterial blood gas analysis.[1] But the two are correlated well enough that the safe, convenient, noninvasive, inexpensive pulse oximetry method is valuable for measuring oxygen saturation in clinical use.
