Answer:

u just multiply them normally as u would do with nos without decimals

and the add the no. of decimal places and put the decimal point after those many nos

Step-by-step explanation:

for example:-

21.22 x 2.23

=               21.22

              x  2.23

                6366 -------------------------- (2122 x 3)

               4244x --------------------------(2122 x 2)                        

             4244xx---------------------------(2122 x 2)

            473206---------now we add the no. of decimal places  of both the nos we multiplied (in the first no. 2 places and in the second no. also 2 places) so total 4 places

so the ans becomes = 47.3026
