how to save a file in MS word​

To save a file you can click on the folder icon at the top left of the screen. a popup will ASP you to name the file and designate where you want to save it. After that, just clicking the folder icon or using tithe Ctrl-S hotkey will save the file.

Explanation:

To save a file in MS-word

  1. Go to the File option in the extreme left corner of the page
  2. Go to Save As option which is the 4th option
  3. Now save the file with so&so.docx extension
  4. Select the location (for example Desktop, libraries etc.)
  5. Press save option .

Extra Information

To open a saved file

  1. Go to file in extreme left of the desktop screen
  2. Go to open option
  3. Now type the name of the file
  4. The file is opened

  • Press Ctrl+S for save
  • Press Ctrl+O for open
  • Press Ctrl+P for print view.
