For scoring above 90 in English in class 10th you need to do the following things...
1. Practise model test papers.
2. Solve 10 years question papers.
3. Try to get the best details from the class lectures.
4. Try to make your your own quality contended answers.

I've scored 96% in class 10 English !

Techniques you must practice
1. Write a story, an article, a letter to the editor, business letter, Diary Entry and Report Writing every Sunday without fail and get them checked by your school English teacher.
2. Try to compete at least half the Novel (The story of my life/The diary of young girl) before August. If you diary of a young girl then you'll enjoy and other one will suffer.
3. Make a seperate notes in which sequence of all events in the novel takes place
4. Most important make a chapter wise note having
=> Name of the author
=> Opening lines of the chapter (will WhatsApp u)
=> Important 'key words' of the chapter/poem
5. Read Newspaper daily to increase your vocabulary skills.(English newspaper)
6. Don't solve too much Model papers and sample papers. At the most 5
7. Preferred Reference Book = All in One (I used it is your choice)
