how to solve 2x+3(x-1)=(1\2)

2x+3(x-1)=(1/2)
2x+3x-3=1/2 
5x-3=1/2
5x=3+(1/2)
5x=7/2
x=(7/2)/5
x=7/10

⇒2x+3x-3= \frac{1}{2}

⇒5x-3= \frac{1}{2}

⇒5x= \frac{1}{2} + 3

⇒5x= \frac{7}{2}

⇒x= \frac{7}{2*5}

⇒x= \frac{7}{10}
