Conc of CaCl2 is 5M i.e we have 5 moles in 1L of the solution. i.e we have 2*5 =10 moles of Cl- in 1L of solution.

Conc of MgCl2 is 5m i.e. we have 5 moles of in 1kg of solvent.
Mass of 5 moles of MgCl2 is 95*5 = 475g
Mass of solvent is 1000 g , thus mass of solution is 1475g

Specific gravity of solution is 1.05, i.e. density of solution is 1.05kg/L = 1050 g/L

Thus volume of solution in which MgCl2 is dissolved is 1475/1050 =1.404L

If 5 moles are dissolved in 1.404L of solution
then no of moles in 1L of solution is 5/1.404 = 3.56 moles/L

So Molarity of MgCl2 is 3.56 moles/L then concentration of Cl- is 7.12 moles/L

Thus total concentration of Cl- is 10+7.12 = 17.12 mol/L
