These are a few things I could think of:

  • Meditate before you sleep.
  • Listen to calm songs.
  • Read a book before you sleep, you'll be thinking of the story while you're reading, and maybe the scary thoughts will go away.
  • Slow your breath, slow your mind
  • Call out your worries, just say your worries aloud and they will probably go away.
  • Let your muscles fully relax
  • Make a to-do list so the next day will be more organised if you can't sleep.

Hope it helps, but I've actually never used these because I just stay up all night, reading one of my favourite books. ;)
