Trees prevents soil erosion as well as soul degradation by holding it firmly by its roots.

hey dear

trees help in maintaining the soil as well as protecting it-

1) Trees reduce erosion. This is because their roots physically keep soil from washing away.

2) A tree canopy can reduce the force of rain hitting the ground from a deluge                                            to a gentle sprinkle, further preventing erosion.

3) the dead leaves add humus to the soil . which keeps the soil fertile. this way trees maintain the soil quality.

hope thi helps!!!
