Here is your answer :-
Rosa park was an African - American women who was tired from a long day work and refused to give her seat on the bus on 1st December 1955.
Her refusal that day started a huge agitation against the unequal ways in which African Americans were treated .
This came to be known as the "CIVIL RIGHT MOVEMENT " . The civil right act of 1964 prohabited discrimination on the basis. Of race, religions or national origin .
It also started that all the schools would be open for African Americans childrens and they would no longer have to set up speacial schools for them .
However , despite this , a majority of African Americans continue to be poorest in the country!
