(i) The Forest Acts created many problems for the villagers. Their daily practices cutting wood for their houses, hunting, fishing and collecting fruits now became illegal.
(ii) People were forced to steal wood from the forests and if caught, were at the mercy of the forest guards.
(iii) Women, who generally collected fuelwood were especially vulnerable.
(iv) It was common for police constables and forest guards to harass people.

Tress are the main source of Oxygen. After the forest amendment act in 1865, the life of normal people was affected a lot.
So many problems started due to forest act:
1. The villagers used to start facing a lack of "Wood" as that was their occupation also.
2. Shortage of leaves which they use to blow fire and keep themselves warm in the winter.
4. Rainfall became less due to less number of trees.
5. For all the reasons mentioned above,Pollution is also Increasing.
