How was the slave trade started?? When and how was it abolished? (50-60 words).

the slave trade began in 17th century. A triangular slave trade was made between Europe ,Africa and America. The french merchants sailed from the port of Bordeaux to the African coast ,where they bought slaves from local chief trains. Branded and shackled slaves were packed tightly into ships for three months voyage across the Atlantic to the Carribean . there they were sold to plantation owners.
