Answer:

Waste is an inevitable by-product of human civilisation. As global population size has grown and many people have moved to urban areas, consumption and waste accumulation have increased rapidly. With these developments, the challenge of waste disposal has grown.Everyday items like food scraps, clothing, furniture, batteries, and appliances — otherwise known as municipal solid waste — are disposed of, where it can take one of three paths: sorted and recycled, diverted to a waste-to-energy facility (e.g., incinerator), or tossed in a landfill.Agricultural wastes arise from waste materials generated from animal manure, crop, and farm remains. The solid wastes like the animal manure and other agricultural by products are collected and dumped in the landfills. These agricultural remnants are highly toxic and can contaminate the land and water resources.
