Hi ,

4p + r + 10 = 0

r = - 4p - 10 ---( 1 )

p + 4r + 10 = 0 ---( 2)

substitute r = -4p - 10 in equation ( 2 ) , we

get ,

p + 4 ( - 4p - 10 ) + 10 = 0

p - 16p - 40 + 10 = 0

- 15p - 30 = 0

- 15p = 30

p = 30/( - 15 )

p = -2

substitute p = -2 in equation ( 1 ) , we get

r = - 4( -2 ) -10

r = 8 - 10

r = -2

Therefore ,

p = -2 , q = -2

I hope this helps you.
