How will prepare 4-methoxy acetophenone from anisole

Acetylation of anisole gives 4-methoxyacetophenone.

Acetylation of anisole can be done by reaction of anisole with acetic anhydride in presence of aluminium trichloride that is AlCl₃. The reaction for this conversion of  anisole to 4-methoxyacetophenone is shown in the image attached.

Here  AlCl₃, work as a acetylation reagent that favors the acetylation at para position so the acetylation of anisole takes place in presence of AlCl₃ that results in formation of 4-methoxyacetophenone.
