a. Carry as little disposable items as possible, when you are on a field visit.
b. Instead of disposable plates and cups, carry light-weight aluminium plates and cups, which can be brought back.
c. Always carry a garbage bag and collect all unavoidable trash into this bag.
d. Carry the bag back to your place of origin and dispose it off responsibly.
A few responsible actions can go a long way in saving our environment.
There are many ways how the litter can be managed during field trips but it has to be done by each and every individual to keep the surrounding clean.
Some of the ideas are,
- Limiting the use of plastic bags that are non-biodegradable
- Maintaining a healthy ecosystem and throwing the trash in the trash cans.
- Try to recycle the waste products whenever possible
