Aim:

To prove that liquid exerts pressure.

Materials required:

football, pin, water

Procedure:

1. Take a football and using a sharp pin, make a small hole in it. 2. Fill water through that hole, till it is completely filled. 3. Now make some more holes on the other sides of the ball. 4. Squeeze the ball. What do you observe?

Observations:

You will observe that water comes out of all the holes with the same a speed. This proves that a liquid exerts pressure in all directions.
