Hii!!

Take 3 glass syringes of the same shape and size(say 100 ml). Close their nozzles by rubber corks. Remove the pistons fromm all of them. Leave the first syringe empty, fill some water in the second and put some pieces of chalk on the 3rd. Insert the pistons back in all the syringes. For their smooth movement ,apply some vaseline on all the pistons before inserting them into the syringes. Now try to push all of them inwards by applying pressure with the help of hand. U will observe that the piston can be easily pushed into the syringe which is left untouched. It can hardly be pushed into the syringe containing water. It can not be pushed at all into the syringe containing chalk.

Actually ,air present in 1st syringe can be easily compressed on applying pressure. It is very difficult to compress the liquid and is impossible to compress chalk pieces made up of solid.

Hope it helps!!❤❤
