In an experiment to determine the density of a pin , 100pin are gently lowered into a measuring cylinder containing 12cm of water .The water in the cylinder rose to 98cm. Find volume of a pub.

Initial level of water v1 = 12cm

Final level of water v2 = 98cm

Difference between both the levels

V2-V1

= 98-12cm

= 86cm

Therefore the volume of the pub is 86cm
