Jean baptist lamarck was the first person to propose the evolution theory. He thought that at some point of history the size of giraffe was eqal to deer. Because of continuous streching of neck after several generations giraffes drveloped long neck.such charaterd that are developed during the lifetime of an organism are called acquired charaters.
