To separate bacteriophage from fermented food.

Principle: Bacteriophage can be separated from fermented food by the heating of the food or by the use of certain types of chemicals

Procedure: due to the presence of excess amount of bacteriophage the food should be heated or roasted at sufficiently high temperature of closed 250 degree Celsius for 5 minutes.

This is sufficient in killing of the bacteria. In addition to this there is also adding of preservative which is also important in killing such bacteriophage
