Hello,

Humbolt current system is also called as peru current or peruvian system of current which flows through the coast of the peruvian islands.
Also, these are very unique currents.
Usually these currents are cold currents which bring a moderating cooling effect in the climate of chile, peru.
These system have a unique feature called as El Nino.
El Nino are the sudden reversal of the currents. It means that in an interval of 2-5 years warm oceanic currents replaces the cold humbolt currents for a limited time period.
