As we know, a mixture of hydrogen and air forms detonating gas — an explosive mixture. Detonating gas is most explosive if the volume ratio of hydrogen and oxygen is 2:1, or 2:5 for hydrogen and air. Hydrogen itself is flammable, and liquid hydrogen causes severe freezing of the epidermis if it touches the surface of the skin.
