By using eliminating method (+y) and (-y) would be cancelled

2x + 3x = 5 + 5

5x = 10

x =  \frac{10}{5}

x = 2

By putting the value of x in (eq.1),we get :-

2x + y = 5

2(2) + y = 5

4 + y = 5

y = 5 - 4

y = 1
