I am dead guys tmrw is my exam and I ain't know anything about this sum.plzz help me

Q.a shooter gets 118 out of 500 points in a competition.if he has to secure 36%to advance to the next round,did he reach the next round?

he cant reach next round becuase getting 118 out of 500 is23%. but he needs 36% for qualifiying

thirudeepak2003: Yea .. but the method is .. 118/500 * 100 !! Here four zeros gets canceled .. then after 118/5 we get 23.6% !! Therefore .. he did not qualify .. hope u like my answer and if u like .. don’t mark anyone as brainliest!!
