First you have to make interest with what ever you are gonna learn.

Then read the textbook

Then try to write short note

Try to memorize in fun way( type of learning)

Don't memorize how it is there... try to understand and memorize

Before going to attend your class read the portion whatever the teacher is going teach.

Try to make regular timetable
