Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: She is reading a book. (Active)

A book is being read by her. (Passive)

NOTE: Sentences that convey habitual actions cannot be changed to passive mode.

I am to help you. (Active)

You are to be helped by me. (Passive)
