I didn't understand what is seasonal contrast

vinay110: As the axial tilt increases, theseasonal contrast increases so that winters are colder and summers are warmer in both hemispheres. Today, the Earth's axis is tilted 23.5 degrees from the plane of its orbit around the sun. But this tilt changes.

1. Temperature and precipitation vary from place to place, season to season, genuinely in India.
2. This is generally termed as seasonal contrast in climate.
3. There are variations not only by the types of precipitation but also through it's amount and seasonal distribution.
4. Precipitation mostly forms up in the upper regions of the Himalayas, but it rains over whole of the country.
5. Due to this amount, most of the parts of the country receives rainfall from June to September, though the parts of Tamil Nadu receive rainfall during October.

Hope this helps you!! :)
