I) The relationship between the celcius and the Kelvin scale is -

Temperature in °C = Temperature in Kelvin (K) - 273

Change in celcius = change in kelvin

II) The Kelvin scale starts from 0K which is the absolute zero (-273° C).

Temperature donot go below the absolute zero and therefore we get only positive values on the Kelvin scale.

III) The absolute scale of temperature is the temperature where 0 is taken as the absolute zero.eg - Kelvin.

Charle's law states that volume of a gas varies directly with the temperature under a constant pressure.

The plot of the Charles law showed a line on the graph with intersected the negative y - axis at a temperature of -273° C. Due to this a new absolute scale with -273 °C as the starting point of a scale was used . 0 K (-273 K) is the starting point of the Kelvin scale and is a absolute scale of temperature.
