I have a total of 300 in coins of denomination rupees one, two, five . The number of rupees two coins is three times the number of five coins. The total number if couns is 160. How many coins of each denomination are with me?

Here is the answer.
Let the no. of rs. 5 coin is x
so, no. of rs. 2 coin is 3x
As total no. of coins is 160
so no. of re. 1 coin will be
160 -(3x + x ) = 160- 4x
Also, total sum is rs. 300
so, 300 = (160-4x)+(5x)+(2×3x)
or, 300 = 160-4x+5x +6x
or, 140 = 7x
so, x = 20.
So 20 coins of rs.5 ; 20×3=60 coins of rs. 2;
and 160-4×20=80 coins of re. 1.
