2. pages were beautifully illustrated.
3. For their long life, pages were pressed between wooden covers or sewn together.

Manuscripts were usually written on things which will last longer or can be preserved for long time just like paper or on rocks..it becomes the basis bcoz of easily transportable or it's durability
limitation..
1. This does not have much space to write all things.
2.it doesn't have the copy or harder to copy it for making other..
