i just ordered from swiggy, i want to know that the money that i paid was transfered to the restaurant or how did swiggy get the benifit out of this

Swiggy partners with different hotels, restaurants and food chains. Whenever a order is placed with Swiggy for a particular restaurent. The restaurent paya a commission to Swiggy for taking order. This benefits the restaurent in a way that they get more orders, They don't have to develope their websites and apps which saves money.
This is a very famous business model and companies like Make My Trip, Book my show, Food panda, Zomato works in the same way.
