Plastic has been a huge problem since it's formation. As many people make and buy things made out of plastic, we get more garbage yearly. This means more plastic to burn, and more carbon dioxide, more cutting down of trees to make more dump yards. Ok now we understood our mistake, let's start dumping in the oceans, no one is going to care after all. Well a lot do. Dumping in the ocean means harming the sea animals, and less fresh water supply. Currently in the world only 3% of water is available, and 2.5% of it is unavailable due being in glaciers, ice caps, atmosphere, soil; highly polluted, or lies deep in the Earth which can't be extracted at an affordable cost.
