I've selected my biology investigatory project as "human diseases" can i get some ideas how to start with it or what type of content should it carry ?

You can write about the different diseases and then how they are spread. After that you can write how they can be cured. You can also write about the different organizations trying or researching for the cure for the respective diseases.
