A simple game to be played on the occasion is - Grandma's parcel. Take any item which you would like to give as a gift to the winner of the game and pack it in one sheet of paper. Write some activity on a slip of paper, for example - do a few dance steps. Put this slip on the packed gift and wrap another sheet of paper on it. Again write something on a slip, for example - sing a song. Put this slip on the packed gift and wrap another sheet of paper on it. In this way cover the gift with around 10 to 15 layers of paper with a slip asking the person to do something.
Ask everyone to sit in a circle. Play music. Ask them to start passing the parcel to each other. Suddenly stop the music. The person who has the parcel in his hand should open the first layer of wrapping paper and read was is written in the slip. Suppose it says dance a few steps. That person should dance before everybody.
Once again play the music and let them pass on the parcel to each other. Stop the music suddenly and let the person who has the parcel open the wrapping paper, read the slip and perform accordingly.
Keep doing this till the final wrapping paper is opened. The person who opens the last wrapping paper will be the winner and can take the gift which was wrapped inside. This game is fun and it also brings out everyone's talents.
