Rabindranath tagore was born on 7 may 1861,he is the great poet born to India.He was born to debendranath tagore and sarda devi , he was great poet and had been awarded with the noble prize for his work in geetanjali ,he also wrote the national anthem of india and bangladesh.he was also actibe throughout the freedom struggle.he got married to mrinalini devi .he died on7 august 1941
