hi there,

____________________________________

let one number be 'a' and the other be 'b'

given condition

a = 5b

(two situations arise after incrementing each number by 21)

21+a = 2( 21 + 5b)  ---- 1)

(or)

2(21+a) = 21+ 5b ------ 2)

u can solve for any equation, yet ull' end up with identical answers :)

21 + a = 42 + 2a    ⇒ a = -21

and

b = -21/5
