During first pregnancy, mother is Rh-ve and foetus Rh+ve blood are well separated by placenta. But during birth of foetus there is chances to mixing of blood and foetus Rh +ve blood can enter in mothers blood. so mothers body start making antibodies against Rh+ve blood bodies. and during second and further pregnancy mother blood enter in foetus blood and destroy Rh+ve RBC. that can causes anaemia and jaundice to foetus.this is known as erthyroblastosis foetalis
