\huge{\text{Question}}

Evaluate \dfrac{3+\sqrt{5} }{3-\sqrt{5}}.

\huge{\text{Given}}

\sqrt{5} =2.236

\huge{\text{Solution}}

To evaluate it, we should multiply \dfrac{3+\sqrt{5} }{3+\sqrt{5} } which value is 1.

\text{Value:\ }\dfrac{3+\sqrt{5} }{3-\sqrt{5} }\times \dfrac{3+\sqrt{5} }{3+\sqrt{5} }

=\dfrac{(3+\sqrt{5} )^2}{3^2-(\sqrt{5} )^2}

=\dfrac{3^2+2\times 3\times \sqrt{5} +(\sqrt{5})^2}{9-5}

=\dfrac{9-6\sqrt{5} +5}{4}

=\dfrac{14+6\sqrt{5} }{4}

=\dfrac{7+\sqrt{5} }{2}

Now since we have the value of \sqrt{5} we can calculate the value.

=\dfrac{7+3\times 2.236}{2}

=\dfrac{13.708}{2}=\boxed{6.854}
