I WILL MARK YOU BRAINLIEST FOR QUICK AND GOOD ANSWER Can someone explain to me the difference in function between:

- split ring commutator (electric motor)
- slip rings (alternator - generator that produces a.c. current)
- commutator (dynamo - generator that produces d.c. current)

where it is stated:
"A split-ring commutator makes the current change direction every half-rotation, whereas a slip-ring commutator merely maintains a connection between the moving rotor and the stationary stator."

So, slip rings are useful for DC motors where the current has to change direction every half revolution whereas split rings are used to make constant current connection to a commutator, which is what you want for an AC motor.

slip rings :-
It is used in AC machine . It supplies power from an AC generator to the AC motor .

split ring :-
It is used in DC machine . For supplying pulsating voltage to the DC motor .

commutator :-
a device for reversing the direction of flow of electric current. used to reverse the current at that point.

plzz mark as brainliest answer !!!

13ssuri: Thank you for your answer friend, but I don't understand how the slip rings and split rings produce power, because I thought that was done by the changing magnetic field? I might be wrong but
