A) Ovary- produces the female egg cells called the ova or oocytes
B) Oviduct- The Oviduct is the tube that links the ovary to the uterus and which the ovulated oocyte travels down to become fertilised by sperm present in the female tract. It is also referred to as the fallopian tube, uterine tube and ovarian tube.
C) Uterus- Functions of the uterus include nurturing the fertilised ovum that develops into the fetus and holding it till the baby is mature enough for birth.
The function of placenta is that the placenta acts to provide oxygen and nutrients to the fetus while removing carbon dioxide and other waste products. It metabolises a number of substances and can release metabolic products into maternal or fetel circulations.
