Heya,

Yeah, you are right. Ice ,water,and steam are three states of a single substance and  not different substances.

This substance is water in liquid state, ice in  solid state and steam in gaseous state. Water can be converted into ice on cooling and into vapour on heating.

They are different forms of matter of a single substance and not different substances.

Ice,Water and steam are three stats of Water.If you melt ice you will get water,if you trap steam in a pot's cap you wiil again get water and if you heat water you will see steam rising out and if you condense water you will get ice.simple!! mark as brainliest if you like
