v. RBCs do not have nucleus , mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum
Absence of nucleus increases the amount of rbc's per cubic mm of blood . Absence of mitochondria prevents the rbc from using any of the oxygen / glucose it carries for itself . Absence of endoplasmic reticulum helps in increasing the flexibility of rbcs .
